village in provence
Nestled between the valleys of the Durance and the Cavalon, this ravishing village is listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France. It is set at the entrance of a passageway hollowed out by a river in the limestone rocks of the Lubéron. The streets edged with boutiques and restaurants count two Michelin starred restaurants. The village is famous for two writers who lived and died here: Camus and Henri Bosco. To maintain this culture of literature, the town organises a book festival since 2004.
Also there is a castle to visit as well as a market on Friday morning
