Gordes is listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France, rising on the rock and surrounded by the Lubéron massif. Artists like Chagal, Vasarely and Pol Mara were charmed by this white stoned village set against the hill and hosting cobblestoned alleyways up to the Renaissance castle dominating the Cavaillon plains.
Once you have visited Gordes, you will only have to walk a few meters to arrive in Bories village which has a wonderful architecture and which dates from the Bronze age. It has to be done !
Then you can visit the Senanque Abbey which has a Cistercian architecture and where monk still live.
You will be impressed by this gorgeous nature and views which characteriez villages form the luberon area.
